Newly released video from an August 2022 traffic stop shows Bryan Kohberger telling police he’s “ obviously an honest person ” three months before he brutally murdered four University of Idaho students for reasons that remain unknown. A Latah County sheriff’s deputy’s body camera captured the mass murderer stating his case after being pulled over while driving 43 mph in a 35 mph zone. When the officer notices Kohberger isn’t wearing a seat belt, the busted motorist admits to not having worn one while driving. “I mean, I’m obviously an honest person, right?” Kohberger says in the footage released Monday. “I told you I wasn’t wearing my seat belt.” The officer tells Kohberger it’s his job to enforce seat belt mandates and the two wish each other a good night after he writes Kohberger a $10 citation.
