Man, 25, stabbed, critically wounded on Bronx subway train

A 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times on a Bronx subway Sunday, leaving him in critical condition, cops said.

The victim was riding an uptown No. 5 train approaching the E. 149th St.-Grand Concourse stop when a fellow passenger stabbed him several times, then fled out of the station about 11 a.m., police said.

Medics took the man to Lincoln Hospital in critical but stable condition.

A police spokesman couldn’t immediately provide the motive for the stabbing or say whether the two men know each other.

The stabber has not been caught.
