“Real Housewives” executive assistant Lauren Miller died “moments” after welcoming her son earlier this week, according to Shed Media, which produces the franchise.
Miller, who worked on the “New York” and “Salt Lake City” iterations of “Housewives,” died suddenly June 9 after giving birth to her son, Jackson, confirmed a GoFundMe set up for her husband and kids.
Miller’s cause of death was unclear as of Saturday. The GoFundMe said Jackson had been put in the NICU following his birth but has since been released.
“This unimaginable loss is impossible to comprehend and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family, is an impossible one to ever fill,” reads the fundraiser’s description.
Miller was remembered for her “warm smile, kind heart and thoughtful, intuitive nature,” as well as “the love she had for her family,” which includes husband Kevin, 3-year-old Emma and 5-day-old Jackson.
As of Saturday afternoon, the fundraiser had brought in over $130,000 of its $150,000 goal to “provide financial support as the grieving family adjusts to this new reality.” Kevin was also said to have been contacted by a charity that provides diapers and baby formula to families suffering a maternal loss.
“There is nothing Lauren loved more than being a mother and your help in ensuring that her kids are taken care of would mean everything to her,” the campaign says.
Miller’s “devastated” colleagues at Shed Media also shared the news in an Instagram carousel featuring photos of the young family.
“Lauren is the love of my life and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of every day,” Kevin wrote in response.
“Housewives” stars Heather Gay, Tamra Judge and Sai De Silva were among those offering their prayer and sympathies.
